Although the Cannon Award has often been presented to high profile community leaders, we have also south the unsung heroes – those volunteers who simply show up every day with a smile on their face and inspire their colleagues with their dedication and commitment to excellence. We are please to be able to give this year’s Cannon Award to and unsung here; Mr. Perry Jones. What is unusual about our awardee is that Mr. Jones passed away in February of this year. Nevertheless, we think it is fitting to honor such a dedicated volunteer.
